AUDIO: Junior Achievement's "Watch a Rising Star Contestant" - Talia Suskauer

We continue our focus on five local high school seniors with amazing talent in the performing arts.  They are competing for $10,000 in college scholarship money.

Each student will win a portion of the funding, with the winner getting the most.

Talia Suskauer attends Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.  She'll perform in the "Watch a Rising Star" competition at the Kravis Center on Saturday night, February 22nd.

Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast helps kids from Kindergarten through 12th grade become entrepreneurs and learn financial savings habits.

Talia sums it up this way: "It teaches kids a lot about how to have a great financial future and how to have a stable life when they're older, so I think it's really really great how they go into classrooms and start teaching kids now.  I wish I had this opportunity throughout elementary school, because I think it's really great to know how to start saving money and spending your money wisely right now."
