If you're lucky enough to head to the beach today, be cautious. Forecasters say there's a risk of rip currents. It's expected to continue through tonight. Beach goers are urged to use caution as moderate northeast swells, along with northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph, could create dangerous swimming conditions. It is the second time since Sunday that a rip current advisory has been issued for the area. On the Treasure Coast, forecasters cautioned that the high risk for rip currents could remain through the weekend. Swimmers are urged to only go into the water in areas where lifeguards are present, to pay attention to posted flags and signs.
