The story of a Boynton Beach woman who conspired with a hit man to arrange to kill her husband, is now the subject of a book.
"Poison Candy: The Murderous Madam: Inside Dalia Dippolito's Plot to Kill" will be released in February 2014, but you can pre-order now.
The authoris of the book are Elizabeth Parker, the lead prosecutor in teh Dalia Dippolito trial and award-winning journalist Mark Ebner.
In August 2009, Dippolito thought she was hiring a hitman to kill her husband, but it turns out that "hitman" was actually an undercover Boynton Beach cop. The entire thing was caught on video and used against Dalia in court.
She was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of the murder-for-hire plot.
Dippolito is out of jail on house arrest, pending an appeal of her case.
The above video shows Dalia Dipplito arriving home to find detectives with the Boynton Beach Police Department telling her that her husband had been found murdered inside. They took her to the police station, where he showed up, alive and well.
